Objective: Students will identify different emotions, recognize how friends look and feel, and practice choosing an emotion that matches their own feelings.

EMOTIONAL COLOR CHART

Students select sprinkle colors that match the background of the facial emotion associated with how they feel today. Then place sprinkles on Emotional Cupcake. For example, if student feels sad, he/she selects a blue sprinkle and tapes it on cupcake.

SPRINKLES SHEET

A chart of colored sprinkles for children to tape on the 'Emotional Cupcake'. Download and cut rows and columns to create enough sprinkles for each student to select the color sprinkle that illustrates how they feel in accordance to the 'Emotional Color Chart'.
